The Colchester Citadel Corps of The Salvation Army is the town centre worship and community centre for this branch of the Christian Church.
We're situated on the corner of Butt Road and the Southway, opposite the main Police Station. Access is from Butt Road.

Important News
The long awaited refurbishment of Colchester Citadel is about to begin. We hold our last service in the Butt Road Citadel on Sunday morning 29th January 2012. We will then be out of the building until the end of May 2012. With the exception of 29th May when there will be no eveing service, activities will continue as usual in alternative locations.
Sunday services will be held accoring to the usual pattern at the Co-operative funeral chapel in Wimpole Road. The building has on-site parking. As usual, morning worship at 10.15 and Sunday evenings (pattern as below) at 5.30pm.

Eld Lane Baptist Church - bowls on Mondays at 2.30pm and Parents and Toddlers on Mondays at 9.30am
Co1 Youth Cafe - 8-14 club Tuesdays at 6.30pm
Samaritans Southway - Wednesday Fellowship 1.45pm
Mount Zion Salvation Army, Ipswich Road, Colchester - Monday Fellowship on the 2nd Monday each month at 7.30pm. Music section rehearsals - Mondays at 8pm (except the 2nd Monday in the month), Songsters Tuesdays at 8pm, Junior musicians - Mondays from 6pm.
