Mission statement
The Guisborough Corps of The Salvation Army is part of the world-wide Christian Church and its Mission is:
- To address the needs of the community both spiritually and socially.
- To introduce men, women and children to Jesus Christ the Saviour we serve.
- To provide a Centre for meaningful and relevant worship available to everyone.
Our ministry
Paul's Epistle to the Romans in the conclusion to chapter 8 has this to say:
We are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
It is this love which we endeavour to preach and live out through our mission into the local community.
