Just Healthcare
Lack of access to adequate healthcare is a huge issue in our world. You can help keep people healthy and give them access to medicine and treatment with these gifts
Four days a week Chiku and the heroic women of the mobile health team pack up their sparse resources and go out to communities in Zambia to do what they can with what they have. And what they do is nothing short of miraculous. Travelling many miles, they visit people who are at various stages of HIV infection, offering care, support and what little medication and nutrition they can. Thanks to the work of Chiku and the rest of the team, The Salvation Army is able to provide much-needed care and support to people living with HIV/AIDS through the good and bad times of the virus.
