Here at Portsmouth Citadel, you can be sure of a warm welcome whether you are 8 or 80! We have regular Sunday meetings - if you are visiting the area, looking for somewhere to worship or even just curious about what The Salvation Army is all about, we would be pleased to see you. There's no need to wear a uniform - in fact many of our regular congregation don't.
However, you may not feel that attending a service on a Sunday is the right thing for you at this stage - so why not just come along to one of our other events? Again, you can always be sure of a friendly atmosphere.
We also have a thriving community outreach programme which runs throughout the week; The Haven Community Project is here for the local community and tries to demonstrate 'Christianity with its sleeves rolled up'. The Haven runs many, many projects, including a Café and a Charity Shop - click the link at the top for a full list.
