HAPPY NEW YEAR 2012
Dear friends,
Well 2012 is firmly with us and it was lovely bringing in this new year with the church. Wonderful testimonies of thanks were said about 2011 and great words of hope were spoken for this year 2012. May all of us know God more this year, and may we all desire to go deeper in our relationship with him.
Isaiah said...
'forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See I am doing a new thing!' (43:19)
Friends, as you journey with God through this year, there is nothing that can be done about 2011, yet there is much that can be done in this new year. God is doing a new thing! And I am sure that man of you are saying an "amen" to that. May we have His eyes to see what he is doing, and have the courage to go with that! Our God is a great and mighty God who will never let us down, so let's look to see what he is doing and celebrate the great things he has in stall for us.
God bless you all and remember that this Sunday is our vision and values Sunday, where we once again look at our vision and values and celebrate what he has done, what he is doing, and what he wants to do with us, His church.

Welcome to the Southwark Salvation Army Community Church website.
Our meeting on a Sunday starts at 11am at1, Princess Street, London SE1 6HH (see 'A' in map or click this Google Maps link)

Pastors, Captains Jonny and Catherine Smith bid you welcome!
We would like to welcome you to this Church where we love to celebrate together and we are glad that you chose to come in here today. As a church we are blessed to be a multi-cultural worshipping community; made up of people from many different cultural backgrounds. As we journey together it is wonderful to be able to celebrate this diversity that God has given us and importantly to this church is to live out unity in this diverse world and in so doing, grow together in the love of Christ.
Our prayer is that you may discover more of God's love today and experience the challenge he gives you to love others with the same love he has given you. If you do not have a regular place of worship, then why not make this your spiritual home!
