Welcome to Anglia's homepage, the Division which covers the whole of Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire - as well as corners of Essex and Lincolnshire. In this region, we have over 50 corps (churches); for more information about the corps nearest to you, please type your postcode into the Find a Centre box to the left.

The Salvation Army is perhaps best known for its social welfare support, and we have lots of that going on in Anglia too - a home for retired people, a centre for the homeless, soup runs, day care centres for the elderly, and so on. Why not explore our pages to see just how busy we are?

We hope you will find this site interesting and helpful, and are always glad to have your feedback, suggestions or prayer requests.

Vision Statement
We will be a Spirit-filled, radical, growing movement with a burning desire to: lead people into a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ; actively serve the community; fight for social justice.

Strategy Statement
Anglia Division SERVES...
S - Supporting corps/centres in their mission
E- Effective communication
R - Reaching the un-churched
V - Valuing people
E - Empowering discipleship
S - Succeeding in Stewardship

Directions to Anglia Division headquarters
Once on the A147 ring road round the centre of Norwich, head for the station (East City). Pass it on your right, up Thorpe Road, and follow the road over one set of lights. When you reach the second set of traffic lights, where you can go straight on or turn sharp right, take the right turn. Barton Way is then the second turning on the left.

FAMILY TRACING REPORT Listen to a short audio clip (4m 12s) explaining the work of The Salvation Army's Family Tracing Service. The piece features Lt Col Ron Smith, who heads the team, and the comments of a number of people who have been reunited by the Family Tracing Service. The excerpt was first broadcast in May 2005 on BBC Radio Norfolk, produced and presented by Tony Mallion.
