Divisional Commander: Major Martin Hill

The Salvation Army's North Scotland Division covers an enormous area, and boasts some of the most spectacular scenery in Scotland. The area covered ranges from Dundee and Fort William in the south up to and including the Orkney and Shetland Isles in the north.

The Army started in North Scotland in Aberdeen in February 1880 and today retains a strong presence in North Scotland with 27 corps (churches) and outposts, 1 outreach unit, 5 charity shops, 1 community centre, a homelessness project in Dundee, a resettlement project in Inverness and a Community Care Service in Angus.

Our services touch people of all ages and are given regardless of race, sex, colour or religion.
