Plans for the future

The College is in the middle of a three to five year change process, with the aim of improving training and education across the Salvation Army. In the last year the College has partnered with ten other denominational colleges across the UK to deliver non-residential training locally for cadets whilst they are in appointment - an innovative new way of learning.
           
Residential training for Cadets will continue, with the benefit of a 21st Century Learning Centre and enhanced accommodation. We have also developed a new vision: "We will be an inspiring, progressive and leading Christian learning community."
 
In other developments, the School for Officer Training and School for In-Service Training and Development will soon be brought together, the College is assessing market opportunities to provide learning to a wider audience, including non-Salvationists, and a strategy for e-learning is being developed.

Commissioning 2009

Commissioning of the 'Witnesses for Christ' session takes place at Westminster Central Hall on Saturday 4th July 2009.

Meetings begin at 2.30pm and 6.30pm.
