David Barker House provides accommodation for homeless men who have slept rough, including those with low support needs around alcohol, drugs and/or mental health. Referrals are accepted from any agency, however most referrals come from street outreach teams and the Housing Advice Service in Southwark. 20% of beds are reserved for LB Southwark. The accommodation comprises 45 single rooms in clusters of 4-6 with shared facilities, including a self catering unit for 10 residents.

The programme at a LIFEHOUSE offers more than a bed, we get people their life back. Life is about Purpose and Relationships and every LIFEHOUSE offers both in everything they do. Every resident still gets a key worker who will help them in the process of preparing and leading them to independent or minimal supported housing. But in a LIFEHOUSE they will also help residents find something they love doing, finding friends and having fun. Life is for living.
